Not too bothered about us getting Barkley now that it's only for £15mil not £30million+.
RLC is highly rated at the club that's why he's never been shipped off to Vitesse or some crap League 1 team so I'm sure us getting Barkley will not get in the way of his progress.

Mahrez would be great though.

Thing is Jose is the biggest hypocrite around in football. Remember last year when he had a go at Conte for 'humiliating' him during that 4-0? Did Jose charging down the touchline when at Porto, or away to Liverpool when at Chelsea not count as a bit humiliating or clown like?

He talks about the respect of city players, was shaking the hand of opposition managers before the game was finished or calling Wenger a specialist in failure respectful?

Jose used to be the sweetheart of the media, the king of mindgames, I feel like he's lost a bit of his swag since he's come back to England

He clearly has talent its just whether he can show it consistently, and preferably move up to the next level. Like someone said previously, maybe being around Hazard, Fabregas etc will help him improve

Would rather have Barkley for that price than Vidal for £35-40 million. Not saying Barkley's a better player, but Vidal would not really be a marquee signing, he's over 30 and has a trash attitude off the pitch.

Barkley clearly fell out with Koeman, who has a **** judgement on players anyway.

Really? Vidal is 30 and starting to decline but he's still top class, and would pretty much solve all your midfield issues, plus you know Conte can work with him. He's a clear upgrade to your team, and probably would be for 2-3 years at least. Plus he's the kind of signing that might keep Conte at the club.

Barkley basically just a depth signing. £15m isn't basically £6-7m from a few years ago, but cannot see why you would play him over Willian, who is a player people are asking if he should be in the team.
