Which master offer to choose to achieve my goal?

Dear everyone:
I am a Taiwanese entrepreneur holding small app company offering dating app in Taiwan.

I graduated from Law school, learned coding by myself. Have created apps with more than 500k register users and more than 1 million downloads.

My career goal is to do IT consulting in Europe.

Just got offers from:
1. Imperial College - Msc Innovation Entrepreneurship and Management
2. Warwick Business School - Msc Management of Information System and Digital Innovation
3. KCL - Msc Advanced Software Engineering with Management
4. U Manchester - Msc Management of Information System: Development and Change(Department of Development and Enviroment)

Due to the visa policy in UK, it is not easy for such an Asian and non-native English speaker to find a job in UK.

Therefore, both IT consultant, software engineer is ok for me to start my career in UK.

Wondering which to choose now, could anyone give me some advise, please?
I appreciated everyone's attention to this matter in advance!
Thanks!

You need to choose a degree that interests you and will help you from an academic perspective with your career. Having a degree from the UK no matter which one it is is not going to make it easier for you to get a job here and may still result in your having to go back to your home country.

I’d suggest that you choose the Imperial programme. With that you can live and study in London and have access to many opportunities including networking and the ability to apply to attend many events.

If you want to stay in the UK/Europe, you should really think about your future plans. Reading recent news, it seems that it is no longer easy for International students to work after their degree. So don't use the programme as a chance to stay in the UK.

Despite the above, if you are as skilled and in-demand as you claim, you may have many job opportunities after your course, which will enable you to stay in the UK, if you wish.

All the best,

Dear Wired_1800:
I am grateful for your reply!
Thanks!

Just wondering that KCL is in London, too, but why do you choose to recommend Imperial for the networking and chances?

Another question is "Is major and degree matters when finding a job in London? "

All the best!

you are conflating two different issues. Those are all good universities and will stand you is good stead for a career.

Whether you can get a job after your degree is not going to be a matter of which of those Universities you go to. The rules in place about overseas workers may well not be in your favour, regardless of degree. If you are eligible to work int he UK, then other factors about your application will be decisive, not the difference between Imperial and Kings, or Warwick etc.

You are welcome, just trying to help.

First of all, to me, the institution matters. Yes, there are some people that would disagree with that comment, but I strongly believe that where you go to school and what you study are two very important things to consider.

With the above written, I would state that Imperial is a better uni, in my opinion, to Kings College London. I also think the course at Imperial looks better (please note that I have not looked into the details, i am just speculating from course names).

In addition, Imperial is probably more targeted than KCL and would have more networking and events for their students.

I would repeat to say that degree and major is quite important in finding a specific type of job. So you need to be careful.

All the best.

As per what threeportdrift has said.

All I'm saying is make sure you have a backup plan. You won't be the first, last or most highly qualified applicant to try this and unless your qualifications and experience are very highly specialist which they aren't then it really doesn't matter where you study. Your immigration status is the main thing that will affect your chances of getting a job. Good luck!
