Integration question help

Hi I'm doing an Mei c3 paper and integration is my worst topic by far

Can anyone help me with the steps to working out :

Integrate 1 + cos(0.5x) between limits of 0 and pi/2
Would that not simply integrate to x + sin(0.5x) and then you put the numbers in...

No integral of cos(0.5x) = 2sin(0.5x).

Ah damn, I always forget to divide by the co-efficient!!
