how do you remember the exact trig values

Not sure what they are, I just draw out an equilateral triangle and an right angled isoceles one and work it out.

Sin goes from root 0/2 to root 1/2 to root 2/2 and so on then Cos is the reverse of this ie. back to front. This is more clear by looking at the table below. To get the tan values just do sin/cos :biggrin:

only in calculator, you will only ever need to remember exact trig values.
i do not really have a trick to it. just draw a table with all the values

Thread is one year old, but you may find it easier just to draw a triangle and split as necessary, if you know what I mean.
