At this point in my life I wouldn't consider it a deal-breaker.

At a point where I want to settle down and have kids? Then probably not.

When evaluating what I'd refer to as a "potential love interest", substance abuse is a quality that would let them down. However, if it was the sole downfall to an otherwise great person, it may not be a deal-breaker.

Their attitude regarding the drugs would also be a factor, in essence:
if they were trying to quit, then awesome!
if they're respectful that I don't want to join them, better.
if they use it as an excuse, I wouldn't be impressed ...

I think you get the gist.

Yeah, provided they aren't reliant then it is no different to going having a pint.

I did once. And never again. She did class A's and spice, all sorts of other ****, met her at a hostel for homeless teens when we were 16 lol nearly risked my life for her several times cos of her antics to get a score or when she needed a hit. Got jooked by two drug dealers for her.

No. People who take drugs are generally just really boring. My sister's housemates take ketamine regularly and she says they're all so dull now.
