Do modules matter for employers?

Okay, somebody please help me on this, please!! :argh:

So I'm doing biomedicine. At which uni? I don't know cause I'm confused.

For instance, at Sheffield, by third year, you need to pick a more 'specialist route' and therefore have modules more specific to that yet unis like KCL offer so much variety and broad modules that I wouldn't know which one to pick from.

Having said that once you graduate, do employers look at what modules you have taken or more like what kind of degree you got?

It does feel like a dumb question but I genuinely have no idea what happens beyond graduation.

They are most interested in your degree class.
They are sometimes interested in consistent module scores as they give more detail.
On rare occasions they might have a passing interest in some specialist modules if its a major part of the job, but unlikely to be a dealbreaker imo.

Your degree won't matter after graduation as you're probably going to be looking for a Mc Donald's job and I can assure you they don't care about the modules you took.

for most general professional jobs, not in the slightest.

for postgrad, it will definitely be somewhat important - ditto any research jobs.
