Short film kidnapping

Hey guys I’ve come up with the basic idea of a kidnapping for my short film roughly 5-6 mins long and I was just wondering if anyone could help me come up with a twist and some way the protagonist escapes
Tanks
how about....

the kidnapper asks a riddle & if it is answered correctly then the victim is released

What’s the “door and chase sequence”?
