Wiley said he was inspired by the classical European depictions of Bible stories by Caravaggio and Gentileschi, only he chose to depict Judith as a black woman and Holoferne as a white woman. He commented: “It’s sort of a play on the ‘kill whitey’ thing”.

Holofernes was an Assyrian general who was about to destroy Judith's home. You can see the symbolism - the whites went to Africa and tried to destroy it, and presumably this depicts a resistance and defence of Africa by Africans.

The "Whites" did not "go" to Africa to "destroy" it.

Ouch... That is quite the embarrassment. However it does say in the article that the painting is based of an historical biblical event but the colours of the people were changed. Still is seems pretty controversial.

I remember a excerpt about early Chinese exploration, before having met the rest of the world Chinese explorers sailed to Africa first, upon seeing the tribal barbarism that ruled over the continent assumed the rest of the world was full of savages and turned back.

Er, you sure? I mean, I can't say I know for sure what the US national debt is, but eleven figures would be the tens of billions, which would be incredibly low for a country with an economy the size of the US.

If he wants to portray that, then he could've painted a white person. I don't believe in fighting an injustice with another injustice - it is a violent message to white people. Instead of moving forward with us, who have all accepted that racism is wrong and are disgusted at how black people were once treated, they'd rather have their revenge and persecute us, even though most white people aren't racist or had anything to do with what happened in the past. If a black group made a group like the KKK against white people today, you'd think that's okay?

In 1851 for example, the Native Americans had a thriving community - the whites couldn't get past Missouri without being attacked so you decided to make up your own false government - make the NA community dependant on your useless cash [fort laramie treaty] and somehow kill every buffalo along your way because even though you weren't (but you were) killing NA you killed their livelihood.
I have yet to see any condemnation of white people for the stupid acts they've done in the past and you won't admit it.

But in the end, if you can't recognise your privilege why should I even bother.

You are of course correct, I didn’t bother to check the actual numbers I just knew they were so large as to be beyond normal human comprehension.

Accordingly as you say I underplayed the real extent of just how much Obama increased the country’s indebtedness.

Upon his inauguration the US national debt was 10,626 trillion dollars, when he left office it was 19,947 trillion.

So the increase was more than 9 trillion which I think is 12 digits?

Way to go Barack! What a guy, what a President. No wonder everyone misses him so...
