The deadline for normal entries is 21/Feb
Schools and colleges will have earlier internal deadlines to ensure admin and checks are done on time.
Entries can be done after that date if the centre is willing to do them but will be at a higher fee.

Not really because every centre sets their own fees. A school taking private entries from their own students will typically just ask for the exam fee. Any centre providing services to external students is likely to add on a significant markup. Late fees vary between between examiners, they are about double the normal fee.

The exam boards charge the centre 1.5-2 x the original for entries after 21 February (it goes up to 3x later on) but the centre may also add on a late fee so the cost can be pretty much what anyone wants to charge.
