Rust Cohle from True Detective.

No question.
Rosemary & Thyme... Felicity Kendal was 60 in it but would still let her prune my hardy evergreen :flute:.

Oh snap, two minutes apart :ahee:
Endeavour is very watchable.
I would have said Sherlock Holmes but I presume you mean the current TV incarnations (and specifically Cumberbatch's) instead of the likes of Jeremy Brett, Peter Cushing or Douglas Wilmar, so I voted for Frost instead as I knew he'd get little love these days. I am not a big fan of the crappy ''cosy'' mysteries that plague British TV as I am more into hardboiled crime fiction which is grittier and usually socially progressive (no smug old Tories like Miss Marble or snooty Peter Whimseys!) and I though Frost was a nice adaptation of that style to a British setting, as was John Hannah's Rebus.

the best detective is who can find who killed my dad
All of you haven't lived life if you haven't seen Columbo.

Just one more thing...
Nah not True Detective, style over substance. It was more like an acting class from MM. Ploy was a letdown in the end.
