Edexcel - C2 Help!

Hi,

Can someone pleas help me on this question? Would the best way to expand both sets of brackets in part (a) be to use the binomial expansion formula and expand to obtain the first 5 terms for each bracket? If not, could someone show me the best way to work it out?

Thanks!
Hasn’t this already been answered, a few threads down?

The fastest way is to substitute values of x to obtain A, B, C since you have an identity which holds for all values of x. You could substitute x = 0,1,-1
