Media Makeup college/uni

Hi!

Advice from people in college/uni doing his kinda course would be appreciated,

Do you need Level 3 theatrical/special effects media makeup to go onto to do a degree media makeup course or would A Level art be acceptable? If I take A Level art I feel as thought I would be less experienced as everyone else?

There’s an applicant thread in Art and Design university courses

In answer - it depends on the course. Some would like you to specialise early, others will look for a combination of makeup and academic skills. It’s most common to take a foundation diploma after A levels to get onto the most competitive courses.
