It's very useful to do if you're considering working in healthcare and a lot of places let you work when you want. Retail will steal your soul (speaking from personal experience)
I have been curios about working in healthcare, but i fell stupid when it comes to the prospect of being a doctor so ill definitley consider this
do you have any childcare experience? babysitting/part-time nanny position could be a good fit if you have experience, there are a few apps now for finding childcare work- i use bubble which is one of them, really good for finding ad hoc babysitting jobs

Long-story short, I've been applying for jobs for a year and a half now and still nothing.

I've tried all the big shops and small ones near me,I've tried city centres and shopping malls, I've tried cafe's and restaurants, I tried going back to my work experience place but they said they don't have any vacancies.

I'm kinda stumped on what to do I guess, I also know this is kinda the worst period to look for work, but i'm kinda desperate as I don't wanna stay at home all the fukin time doing nothing all the time.

I just really want some advice as it is.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you didn't find that site helpful.

Networking can be a good way to find employment both full and part time.

If you use social media sites like Twitter and LinkedIn you might come across a lot of positions that you didn't know existed. Every local Job Centre Plus has a Twitter account and they regularly post job opportunities.

More and more employers are using social media as a way to recruit, I hope that suggestion helps.

Thanks,

Sophie.
