Help with Hardy Weinberg equation + frequency of alleles

Hey guys, the question in the pic is about finding the total frequency of recessive alleles (from homozygous recessive but also half of heterozygous) and I have the correct numbers for both of those however I don't get how you then find the total frequency. I just added the numbers up but the answer is wrong so I'm very confused?

If you don't understand anything in the pic please ask I would love any help you can give me!

The answer should be frequency of homozygous recessive plus 1/2 frequency of heterozygous so if that's what you did you should be right
