Basically I couldn’t get accommodation for first year and had to live at home so I haven’t made any friends, I talk to people from my course but we’re far from friends. I’m going to get private halls for yr2 but is it too late to make friends that you can go out with? Thanks!

Not at all, I made my closest friends in the final year of uni. Join some societies or clubs and you'll meet new people.
