Pogba’s just being rested for the Chelsea game.

Sevilla are pretty easy opposition. 16-17 Leicester beat them over two legs so not sure why there’s anything to worry about. It’s not like Mourinho’s had problems with flair players before and gotten rid of them.
This Mourinho Pogba beef ain't dissipating anytime soon. It is resolvable but who will give an inch (as the player it should be Pogba IMO) but that's another story later to discuss

Midfield to include McTominay and Matic or a three with Carrick included?
Perhaps it’s partly tactical but Jose taking a risk. A risk that worked with Shaw and Martial but magnified with Pogba.

Do think fans will need to pick their side here, if you’ve criticised Pogba’s ability to show the positional and defensive discipline to play in a two, you can’t really argue with dropping by him for that reason.

Feel it’s a bit aggressive from Jose, coaching him to do so while in a midfield 3 would have been safer.

If we lose tonight, he’s started a chain of events that could lead to him losing his job. City situation, Chelsea coming up, top 4 tightening, tensions within the team. Big call from Jose.
BS team

Is Shaw injured? Not in the squad. If he’s not I thought he was back in Mourinho’s good books?

Midfield looks quite ordinary as well.

Sevilla will up their game for us. No doubt.
No Pogba, No Bailly, No Martial, No shaw.

We are such an ordinary team without Pogba and Martial.

If this isn't solved soon, as in within the next month, Pogba should leave, especially as it doesn't look like Mourinho isnt going anywhere. Mourinho isn't going to change his mind, he just won't, he is too arrogant and belligerent for that and I'd rather see Pogba playing well elsewhere (not in England) rather than moping about and looking miserable as sin at United.

The worst part is Mourinho has dropped Pogba so he can jam ****ing Jesse Lingard in the side. Lingard is a decent enough player but a confident, in form and in position Pogba out classes him without even trying.
Good team. Obviously would prefer Blind over McOrdinary, but otherwise I’m happy. Should get the 0-0 we’ve come there for.

Mourinho wont be here after next season. 100%.

New contract was just a bigger severance for him.

If it did go down that road what do you think the outcome would be and do you think Jose could keep his job if that were the case?

Jose will either fix things or get fired like anyone else.

It's not just the beef with Pogba though that's leading to the team selection I feel.

Part of it is that we play United at home and Mourinho tends to get his sides more offensive at home, he plays Sevilla away and probably treats it as a 2 legged tie so will go defensive and he would like to rest some players.

He knows that United with an attacking team would probably just sort out Sevilla at OT anyway.

De Gea needs a statue. Bails you out so many times. Thank God he twerks for Chelsea.

Also, Matic has once again declined in the second half of the season like he consistently has these last couple of seasons.

We'd be mid table without him.

Valencia getting shown up for the terrible full back he is...

Sanchez is so frustrating to watch, never stays in position and that leaves Lukaku isolated, especially with Mata on the other side.
This team still cannot defend for ****. Nearly 2 years later and its still defensively a mid table side. In terms of stopping the opposition creating chances to score, we're worse than Liverpool, who are basically a meme.
What is this team good at? Beside De Gea obviously.

Can't defend
Can't keep possession
Can't create chances
Can't score goals
Can't name a clear best XI, formation or style of play.

5/1 to finish outside the top 4 with SkyBet. Get on it, it's basically printing money.
