phimosis

so my boyfriend has phimosis (when foreskin won't pull down), but i don't know how to talk about it with him. it's affecting our relationship because he's self concious of it, and isn't overly interested in sex (but i am). i dont enjoy giving oral sex because there's always an odor/taste... help how do i bring it up (without sounding like a total c u ext tuesday) we've been together for awhile now, and i've been at a very different stage by now with old boyfriends, and we just cant get there and i think its because of this?? he's absolutely the best but i feel like he doesn't trust me/wont open up

He's needs to see a GP and get it sorted. Steroid cream + stretching or circumcision. How to get him to do that? Is he aware that phimosis is not normal and actually a problem?
