Glad this thread is back!

I've got a French oral exam tomorrow, so during the 4pm session I'll be revising the philosophical concepts that are discussed in the books I've read.

Good luck to everyone participating, let's get some serious revision done!

I’m joining in!
I’ll try to learn one question of my mandarin speaking controlled assessment:tongue:

How did it go?

Sorry for joining at a bad time, I just got home from school. Going to try and do work on my English didsertation and my politics assignment! Good luck everyone with revising!

Good luck!! :rave:

I got 73/75 in the paper under timed conditions
*legs it home so she can get home for the 4pm session...*
This is a pretty cool idea

I'll be joining in with the 6pm session later. Today I'm writing notes on Chemistry Unit 9 (Chemistry of the Atmosphere) and then doing the review questions for the topic.

This is awesome, but my half term and mock week legit just ended. :colondollar: I'll probably join in for misc things if I find that I have any. :h:

This'll be running right until the end of exam season (late June) so you can pop in any time you need to get stuff done! How do you think mocks went?

Chemistry :afraid: Good luck! I'll be taking part in the 6pm session too - sitting out of the 4pm one
I can't believe I actually made my mark on this forum.

Honestly, even though that year did not go well for me, it was rewarding to know that I helped so many other students in that step to achieve what they wanted.

Hosting that thread was very worthwhile and the supportive hub that was formed as a result of it was incredible and more than I ever expected, I therefore hope protostar finds it equally rewarding to host this year.

I created quite a few threads that year, I'll share 4 of the ones I think might be most helpful to whoever reads this. Really don't know if the specifications are still the same but here we go.

1) This is an AQA chemistry unit 2 thread, basically has notes all summarised, I covered the whole spec in 5 pages and it seemed to be very useful to some students:

https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4148507

2) Here's an AQA chemistry unit 4 thread, very similar to the above except it took me 7 pages:

https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4159211

3) AQA chem unit 5 thread. I ran out of time and didn't finish this one, but I'll share it anyway bc it has some information summarised quite nicely.

https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4169691

4) Finally if you're lacking in motivation, here's a thread for that. The comments I received suggested it was beneficial and helpful so it may be worth a read for anyone who's struggling with that.

You've all got this, just never give up.

Ah, awesome. I have another set of mocks before then, and ofc there's the stuff in between exam seasons so that's pretty cool. I might be around quite a bit then. :h: I definitely feel I've improved in 2/3 of my subjects so I'm happy about that, but I know the full extent of it won't really show in grades bc of a couple silly mistakes (getting bored in the middle of a geography essay and reading the paper so fast you miss an easy five marks on dividing a cubic - this would only happen to me :facepalm2: ). My last exam on physics didn't go too well though, even though I thought the practice papers were going well... :/ I'd be happy for around CCC and above at this point, so hopefully I'll end AS on As and Bs.
5:30pm - Session ends

Hope you’ve been productive!!
I know I've arrived just about in time for the break, but ah well! I'll be revising for the next hour and I'm hoping to make some Mechanics topic flashcards and finish off the work we started in class today (Inverse Functions).

Good luck with revision guys!
Took me a good 15 minutes to get everything I needed and get started :colondollar: But worked productively for the duration (which seemed to pass quite quickly!)
6:00pm - Session begins

In this session I'm going to start off that revision poster on Electric Fields :awesome:

Have a productive time!!
Don't know how much of this session I will last, but going to try and remain positive and productive  More notes and exercises from this statistics booklet for me :s-smilie:

Bit late but it went okay:biggrin:
Instead of one of the questions I finished learning my presentation and started q1.
Hopefully I can get all ten memorised in time:colondollar:
