TBH the best way is to do loads of past papers and practice questions and hopefully you'll eventually get the grade up.

What I did for maths was find a list of the topics for non-calculator and calculator. Then O just went through the ones I found difficult, and did loads of papers, so I knew the types of questions you would get based on topics. I did papers in time conditions a lot, so I could see if I was making progress. I managed to jump 2 grades by doing this.
