Hi Kj.7

We are glad hear you are considering the University of Huddersfield for Graphic Design, have you applied already or are thinking of applying?

We know it’s a big decision when choosing where to study - making sure both the course and the university is right for you.

We can’t comment on the course at Leeds Beckett but can tell you a bit about the course here.

On the Graphic Design course you cover everything from designing a billboard, designing advertising to planning magazine layouts. You can also design packaging for products or for film. It’s very hands-on with studio-based design projects, workshop demonstrations and practical sessions. This course focuses on the needs of the creative industry, opening up our students to many career paths in the future. Some of our graduates have worked with the BBC and Google. :]

You also have the opportunity to do a placement in the UK or abroad. We are proud that at Huddersfield, all of our undergraduates have the chance to gain professional work-related experience. The course is accredited which also looks fab on your CV.

Have you had chance to visit us yet or do you have any more questions?

If you want, we can connect you with a current student who is already on the course. It could give you a real student’s opinion? We would be more than happy to organise this for you, just DM us if you think this might help. :]

Best wishes

Rachel and Susanne
