How do you even revise Physics?

I can’t really be bothered to do Electricity.

I really just don’t like doing Mechanical Maths

Definitely a weak point

I luckily haven’t had to do electricity! But I got stuck on my energy work and gave up, I question why I took further maths A-Level sometimes

Ah, you’re probably with AQA then. I’m with Edexcel, they have the worst topics. Oh energy, there’s another terrible one. Haha, it’s a little late to think about that!

I managed to fail to even get through my first ever session!

I blame the mechanics 2

Indeed I’m AQA! Means I get to experience the joy of FP4 too

It’s actually insane how much of a gap there is between M1 and M2 in my opinion, or at least with AQA. One’s pretty easy and the other is damned near impossible for me!

Haha, more fun for you! I’m doing the new specification but I’ve heard that students found the gap big between these two.

Stick with it, and I’m sure you’ll do fine. You’re intelligent.
5 minutes late but joining the session, love the whole idea!

Ah I imagined you’d be older for some reason, the new spec is a bit foreign for me but I know my school moved to Edexcel for the new spec too.

Thank you very much though, I’m sure you’ll do great too!

Ah yes, hopefully you’ll love it! I’ve no doubt that you’ll achieve anything below A*A*A. Yeah I follow your GYG, that’s why. Do you mind me asking why you didn’t apply for CompSci at Durham instead of NatSci?

Surprises me how many people read my blog sometimes! And hmm I really question those grades, I reckon I can get AAA but will struggle for much more. The whole A* system for maths has me so stressed! And I applied for NatSci rather than CompSci so I could do effectively a joint honours in Maths and CompSci (so roughly a 50/50 split of modules rather than primarily just CompSci ones)

What are you thinking of doing with regards to University?

It’s more popular than you think. I reckon you can do it. How are you finding Maths and FM right now? Oh right, I never knew you could do that, I thought you specialise in your single subject. It’s a really good combination though.

I’m not sure, sometimes I feel I want to do something practical like Engineering but then the theory part pulls me away.

If you say so! And I have no choice but to try go get those grades! Maths and FM are going okay-ish, worse than this time last year though, my FM mock was a bit of a trainwreck but life goes on! And nope, joint honours are definitely a thing, I've applied to a joint honours at every university actually, most of them call it 'Maths and Computer Science' however Durham decided to be difficult and hide the joint honours I wanted to do within thier NatSci course! Not realising joint honours exist is definitely an easy mistake to make though, they're not as common, plus people say you end up doing more work than a single honours student even though theoretically you shouldn't have to.

I agree with the theory aspect of things, that's what puts me off CompSci as well, hence the joint honours with Maths, means I get to do more Maths and practical stuff than the sometimes rather dull CompSci theory which is always a bonus!

Engineering degrees definitely open lots of doors though so would be a great choice. :yep:
