Even with VAR that's such a tight call. The linesman will be looking at Lindelof's body, sees Morata miles ahead and flags off.
It's one of those decisions that usually goes in favour of the home team. See Mata at Huddersfield the week before.
The linesmen didn't flag Mata offside though? It was VAR in the end that disallowed the goal. In real time, tight calls like that would usually go in favour of the attacking team by giving the benefit of the doubt. VAR would change this of course as we would be able to really see if the player was offside or not, don't really care if it is off by 5mm, you are either offside or onside.
Tbf you completely fluked a draw at Anfield with the Willian cross-goal, so it probably evens out tbh...
Agree it was a harsh decision, however United were simply more clinical in the game. Also Morata is terrible.
Who cares when you're not winning anything AGAIN this season.
Morata's low on confidence, been injured for a while and plays in a dodgy system because we get no service from the wingbacks thus rely on Hazard all game for creativity.

What do you mean no service?
I've seen Alonso cross the ball several times into the box. Moses is not as effective, but still offers decent service tbh.

Good service. Alonso is a good crosser but he is shocking 1 vs 1 so basically has to rely on overloads and switches and a lot of space.
Moses can't cross or pass but he can dribble. They are both very limited players. If we had city's fullbacks we'd probably be challenging city. Honestly.

Thoughts on us potentially making a move for Robben in the summer? he is a free agent.
Would be a poor decision. He's a good player but he's 34, its amazing he hasn't gone over the cliff already but its going to happen. He's injury prone, this season is his highest ever in minutes at Bayern. So we'd be paying in all likelihood a lot of money for a player who could be about to fall off in a major way, who doesn't offer the minutes to be a starter and then might not even be fit when we need him to fill in.

why would we do that if arjen robben came to mufc now then it will cause chaos as mourihnio would play pogba as a defensive mid which wll prevent him from playing his attacking football .and remember wejust bought sanchez
