Trans model Munroe Bergdorf becomes Labour's LGBT adviser

Trans model Munroe Bergdorf has become Labour's adviser regarding LGBT issues.

The 29-year-old will work with Labour's shadow minister for women and equalities, Dawn Butler and joins other advisers including Linda Riley, publisher of a magazine for lesbian and bisexual women, and entrepreneur Anthony Watson.

Munroe was the first transgender model to front a campaign for L'Oreal but was dropped in September after claims she posted "racist comments" online.

What do you make of this? Is it good thank Labour have welcomed these advisers? Who would you suggest as an adviser for different issues?

It's doubling down and going all out is what it is.

Building a coalition of the extremes and hoping that (a) it doens't tear itself apart, and (b) it doesn't completely alienate its small-c conservative working class base.
The question should be “Why are Labour and Dawn Butler bringing in advisors on LGBT issues when the LGBT branch of the party has been running since 1975 and is an affiliate of the Labour Party. They are a fully democratic elected group which has been advising Labour on LGBT issues for many years. Who are these advisors accountable to? Why are they unelected? Will they be replacing LGBT Labour on policies for LGBT members in future?”

It is a worrying and undemocratic move. The party is trying to move away from people being parachuted into roles within the party unelected.

Lol. Just lol.

The idea that *this* is the worrying and undemocratic move.

Since Corbynism started, Labour has put it's foot down on the accelerator and gone full on Fast & Furious Vin Diesel road racing into Marxist totalitarianism.

Marxism is by its nature counter to human instinct - its unnatural to civilised humans - hence it can only be implemented by force and on the national level at the point of a gun. The Momentum Labour Party is a microcosm of what it hopes to become - and as such it is already a police state. There's not even a semblance of democracy in the Labour Party. The Party is gone - it's just that moderates are hanging around pretending it's not happened.

I think having someone who actually understands first hand the struggles and concerns of the LGBT community be the LGBT adviser just makes sense in my opinion.

I don't know anything about her as a person though.
A trans telling women they "do feminism wrong" because they "exclude penis" is not exactly someone that should be sitting on any committee. Then again, new Labour Women's Officer for one CLP Liam Lily Madigan thinks Muslim women have to be "educated" in order to accept penis into their changing rooms. I guess trans trumps Islam when it comes to who to validate more mindlessly for the regressive left.
Of all the trans activists available they choose the one who was sacked from a role for racism?

Hm.
Always nice to see someone find their spiritual home and being welcomed into it.

She wrote a lengthy Facebook post which it's claimed included the comment: "Honestly I don't have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.
"Because most of ya'll don't even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour.
"Your entire existence is drenched in racism."

No wonder Jezza is so proud of posing for a photo-op, they have so much in common.

What with this and his new stance on brexit the working class white vote especially in the north is going to kick his ass come the election.
He and his comrades have obviously calculated that the balance of numbers and thought they will pick up more from remainers and transgenders.

Completely agree!

It doesn’t help that she’s a racist either.

The Labour party has turned from the party of the working class to the party for Minorities, SJW's and this f***ing ridiculous PC culture. They've lost my vote.

Is being gay extreme? Gosh! So what does that make straight people - dull, safe, ordinary, grey?
Why pick somebody who is racist though?

Check out the LPs record on anti-semitism and it might make sense.
Her comments:

"Honestly I don't have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people".
"Once white people begin to admit that their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth... then we can talk."

That's so disgusting, can you guys imagine what it would be like if it was the other way around? Jeremy Corbyn should be ashasmed of himself, he clearly has no respect for himself considering he himself is white. He should grow some balls and pick people that aren't hell-bent on being a racist. Would you have respect for a Muslim if he appointed somebody who says "Yes, ALL Muslims are terrorist"? No. How can Bumlicker Corbyn even look at her in the eye and smile at her? Knowing full well that she holds views which directly attack him?

The worse part is that she herself is half-white, so does that mean she's 1/2 or somewhat violent? After all, she's implying that it's in the blood of white people to be violent and half of her blood is white so she admits that she's violent in someway as well.

And then when it all backfired, when she got fired by L'Oreal she started crying "Just know that in tearing me down, you are proving everything that I said to be true" lol, I don't want her anywhere near Westminster/Parliament.

She's a disgrace to the LGBT community.

The party looks inclusive and caring, she gets something to do with her spare time.

It is perhaps interesting to acknowledge that the Tories wouldn't have her. But why not?

The Conservatives don’t want her because she is racist perhaps?

That would be enough but we know what Labour would say to that...
