Picking alevels next week

I think I might do Chemistry, Biology and Geography however I’ve heard the sciences are really hard especially Chemistry

Should I reconsider choosing it?

Your A levels should enable you to the degree you want. If you dont know then facilitating subjects keep options open.

Doing acceptable subjects is only half the battle as you also need to be able to get the right grades. It is a balancing act.

I would say choose subjects you enjoy and can get good grades in, but check to see if they are respected enough to be accepted as suitable for the courses hat interest you.

Chemistry and Biology are a powerful combination, but you need to get the grades. A D in Chemistry isnt going to do you any good. Be honest about your abilities.

I did those three as well, really enjoyed the combination.
A level chemistry was quite a big step up from GCSE but I think it's worth it because it gives you a lot of degree options. Also my teachers weren't great and we'd all just mess around in class so that might be why so many people dropped a grade. But if you don't see yourself picking a science related degree then I'm not sure I'd bother with the hassle of it.
Biology was pretty hard as well, a lot of memorising and things don't always piece together (because they don't go into as much detail as uni level) so it can be hard to get your head around stuff. Most of us did quite well in the end though.
The concepts in geography are quite straightforward and even though there's a lot of content to learn, it's not too difficult. It's good having so much essay practice as well.
