What is a typical timetable like for a Psychology student at Northumbria?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew what a typical timetable would be like for a Psychology first year student at Northumbria because I was thinking of travelling there but I'm not sure what times I would be looking at to be there every day.

Thanks 😊

Some days you can do 9-5. Some you will do shorter. It will depend on your modules.

Hi, I have just finished my first year studying Psychology at Northumbria (full-time undergraduate).

I have attached my Year 1 timetables in this post.

My semester 1 timetable was:

Monday: Social Psychology lecture (12pm-1pm), Cognitive Psychology lecture (5pm-6pm)

Tuesday: Health Psychology lecture (10am-11am), Biological Psychology lecture (11am-12pm), Developmental Psychology lecture (1pm-2pm), Personality lecture (5pm-6pm) *worst day haha*

Wednesday: Qualitative workshops (3pm-5pm)

Thursday: nothing

Friday: Qualitative workshops (1pm-3pm)

My semester 2 timetable was:

Monday: Mental Health lecture (1pm-3pm), Statistics revision (4pm-5pm), Statistics lecture (5pm-6pm)

Tuesday: nothing

Wednesday: Statistics workshop (11am-12pm), Quantitative workshops (3pm-5pm)

Thursday: Statistics lecture (9am-10am)

Friday: Statistics workshop (10am-11am), Quantitative workshops (1pm-3pm)

Hope this helps! Bare in mind that not all timetabled stuff is compulsory (I skipped loads of lectures, since they were put online anyway). However, attendance is monitored in lectures, so you might get emailed if attendance is low, but as long as your grades are okay, you should be fine. Qualitative and quantitative workshops are compulsory (you will lose marks each time you miss a session without approved absence). Plus, there was sometimes some extra sessions, such as revision, but the above is the standard timetable. However, the times for each session (except lectures) differ for people, since they are in smaller groups.
Hey, Im thinking of transfering into year 2 psychology at Northumbria but I would be living away from Newcastle. Does anyone know what the year 2 timetable looks like? thanks you x
