When do you count as a mature student?
If you apply to start university at 20, but turn 21 that year are you classed as a Mature Student or is it when you begin the academic year at 21?
It's from the point your studies begin, so if you turned 21 a few months into your year you would not be a mature student.

For student finance, you're not classed as "independent" until 25, but otherwise it's once you're over 21.
