Equivalence of foreign language A-levels

I'd like to know what is the equivalent of an A level of a language with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe. I am not British and I do not find reliable information about it . In case you don't know the CEFRLCE divides the levels in A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2. Thanks in advance.
According to this, A Level French is close enough to B2. I assume this can be extended to the other modern languages.
That said, I doubt A Levels and language certificates are interchangeable, even though requirements/content might overlap.
