Cardiff University Mathematics Applicants 2018

I don't know if this is already an existing thread but I couldn't find it, so I thought I'd start it up myself, seeing as I wanna know who else is applying and with what kind of grades.

I'll go first of course:

Name: Robbie
Location: Bristol
Course: Mathematics (G100)
Predicted Grades (Optional AS UMS scores?):A* Maths A Chemistry B Further Maths
UMS scores: C1 80 C2 91 S1: 86 FP1: 68 M1: 80 D1: 84
Where else you're applying: Exeter, Surrey, Leeds and York.

Course: Mathematics (G100)
Predicted Grades: A* Maths, A Further Maths, A English Literature
UMS scores: 93 C1, 97 C2, 89 S1, (and I'm doing Further Maths in a year so I haven't done any exams yet, so no UMS)
Also applying to: Cambridge, UCL, KCL, Bristol

Has anyone had an offer from Cardiff (mine is AAA-A*AB with A in Maths), and if so, which offer-holder day(s) (if any) are you thinking of attending?

I got an offer of AAA/A*AB as well. I’m going to the offer holder day on Wednesday 29th Nov

Predicted Grades: A Maths, A Further Maths, B Biology, B Chemistry
UMS scores: C1 88, C2 76, C3 72, FP1 68, FP4 38, D1 90
I've already accepted my Cardiff offer, and put it as my firm, but my Insurance is University of Reading
I've signed up to the offer holder day on 24th March
Do they send you an email telling you what to expect on the offer holder day???

Hi Alex, nice to meet another firm offer holder :biggrin: I’ve firmed for Cardiff as well. When I signed up to the offer holder day I believe I did get an email with an itinerary attached for the day. Good luck when you go :smile:

I did sign up, I just didn't receive an email, do you think they'll do it later this month???

Yes I’m pretty sure mine wasn’t an instant thing. If it comes close to the date and you still don’t know what you’re doing you can ring the School and they will sort it out for you
