Maths GCSE Resit in 6th form

I want to resit my maths GCSE this coming may/June series (2018) as I got a 5 but feel I could get higher. However, is there a cut off date to enter into this series. If so, does anybody know when it is and how much the cost is. Thanks!

Talk to your exam officer asap.

Using AQA as an example.

I believe the very late entry fee surcharge is applicable and the deadline for that is 21 April . £86.38 plus whatever the school wants to charge for invigilation and use of facilities.

I believe it's the same, but have linked the document and you can look up yourself. Check with your exam officer.

You also need to make sure its for the right exam board.

Whilst have no doubt that is what your exam officer told you, its more reliable if its traced back to the exam board. There are a number of deadlines and that may just have been the normal one and when they wanted to know by.

Exam boards tend to have a normal dead, line, then a late deadline and a very late deadline. the exam fee goes up the later you are.
what I meant by the January deadline, it was a general deadline (not date specific) and meant no late fees. my exam officer said as close to Christmas as possible would be preferable.
I got mine in late November, so that I didn't miss it.

All the dates are on the aqa website, but as mine are already in I've not looked at the actual dates
