Advice on quitting apprenticeship

Hello!

If someone leaves the employer just after finishing a higher apprenticeship, what he will have to pay?

Is there a chance he leaves without paying anything?

An employer cannot recover training fees from apprentices, current or former.

Hi there,

You will not be asked to contribute financially to the direct cost of learning or assessment (this includes where an apprentice leaves their programme early - employers must not claim training or assessment costs back from ex-apprentices)

Please note- this information will be out dated as of end of March 2018 and a new guidance will be published, I would suggest checking the 2018 funding section has not changed once published.

Thanks will check, but as for now, does this apply for people who leave just after getting their qualification?

Hi there,

This applies to an apprentice that leaves during or after their apprenticeship:smile: You don't have to pay.

excuse me, does this apply when the employer has contributed to the funding of the training?
