International Women's Day QUIZ!

Happy International Women's Day!

This year's theme is #PressForProgress and TSR is celebrating with a whole bunch of threads, including this quiz.

Boring rules and stuff:
The quiz will be held on Survey Monkey.
The quiz will run for two days to allow more participation.
Entries will no longer be accepted after midnight on the 9th.
The winner will be announced the next day (10th).
For your entry to be counted you must include your TSR username.
Those who made the quiz (me) will not be taking part.
Any tie will be broken by random selection.
Please do not google or otherwise look up answers. That's just rude.
Posting answers in this thread and other shifty behaviours will result in a penalty to your score.

Now for the exciting part... winnings.
As long as 10 or more people participate in the quiz,
the winner will receive their choice from the potential prizes list.

Well that's that sorted. Onto the quiz!
Good luck everybody!

My lack of winter olympics knowledge let me down (bring on the paralympics next week!!!!)
6/8 - Dammit I thought I'd nailed the Winter Olympics ones!
Ah well  75% is still better than what I thought I'd get

Probably a bit mean of me making two questions on that. Needed to divide the scores somehow though

It's valid questions though  and they're good; I fell into the trap of picking the one who was predicted to win and who people expected to win instead of who did (I think she won bronze in the end?)

Darn. I was hoping it was just me. :/ I can see it on the app, but not online. I'm looking into it and will hopefully get it sorted soon.

Apparently!
(also I'm glad that made some element of sense tbh - to me it was just scribbling down everything that comes to mind)

There appears to have been a glitch of some sort (probably in my brain) with the last question. Please only choose one answer.
If that glitch plays a role in the highest result I will work out a way around it to ensure things stay fair.
5/8
I had no idea about the Winter Olympics ones!

Copy paste into post #2 @Kindred.
Also, @Kindred I'm afraid to say question 9 is incorrect. Before 1832 some women had the right to vote.:frown:

Anyhow,

Score: 50%

4/8 points
Perhaps a random question, but if there's joint winners, do both/all of the winners receive a choice of prize?

Poop. Well at least people understood what I meant. I should have known better than to trust the internet without checking.
If that affects end results I'll look into something to make it fair.

Tie will be broken by random selection... or a tie break question if that's what the joint winners want to do.

I'm not fussed either way regarding the actual competition, just not a fan of the general misconception.
