Can somebody please help me with this maths question

In a school there are 800 students

3/10 of the total number of students are in year 7 and year 8 combined
1/4 of the total number of students are in year 9
The remaining students are in either year 10 or year 11 in Yh ratio 5:4

Number of students in year 7 and 8 = (3/10) * 800

Number of students in year 9 = (1/4) * 800

Number of students in year 10 and 11 = 800 - (number of students in year 7, 8 and 9)

Ratio of year 10 to 11's is 5:4, so 4/9 of the remaining students are in year 11.

You can find the number of students in year 7 and 8, and 9 to find the number of year 10s and 11s.

Percentage of year 11s = (number of people in year 11 *100) / (Number of people in the whole school)

If you post the working out that you did, you can compare them to these stages of working. There will have been a mistake somewhere if you do not get a whole number of students.
