I was thinking about applying to Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music for Vocal. Are there any differences on this two colleges? Which one might be better for studying vocal? Are there any tips on choosing pieces for the audition?

You should prepare three items in contrasting styles and moods, one of which must demonstrate vocal agility. One item should include a recitative if possible. One item must be sung in a language foreign to you. You may be required to sing only two of the prepared works.
If you are auditioning for the Bachelor of Music programme you will be required to take a 50-minute written assessment including harmonisation of a melody and a short essay question of a general musical nature. You will be permitted to use a printed dictionary. Sorry, we cannot issue specimen papers.
You may also be asked to take some aural skills tests, consisting of a sight-singing test and some of the following:
- singing the middle notes in a chord
- identification of intervals
- sight reading of rhythms
- sight reading of two simultaneous different rhythms, to be sung and clapped.

Applicants should prepare
Three items in contrasting styles and moods, one of which must be an operatic or oratorio aria (with recitative if possible). Pieces selected from the popular music repertoire would not be considered for the purpose of this audition. The audition panel reserves the right to select only two of the three prepared works.

I'm assuming you're talking about an undergraduate course.

They are both different conservatoires based in London. Most prospective students will apply to a range of colleges.

In their entry requirements they say that applicants should have an ability equal to Grade 8 or DipABRSM so it may be worth looking at the sylabi for those qualifications.
