2nd ODE - What should be my particular integral be?

Hi hello

I need help with determining my particular integral,

y′′′+6y′′+12y′+8y=e−2xy'''+6y''+12y'+8y=e^{-2x}

so the complementary function is

y=(A+Bx+Cx2)e−2xy = (A+Bx+Cx^{2})e^{-2x}

I tried setting the particular integral to λxe−2x\lambda x e^{-2x} but that cancelled out completely

Try x3e−2xx^3 e^{-2x} then.
