Animal Managment qualification

I have an interview for a level 3 Animal Management course is a few weeks and I have absolutely no idea what to say if they ask what I want to progress into!

I know I definitely want to work hands on with animals, in a job that is not just sitting/standing around observing all day
I know I want a job where I won’t have to do too much public speaking because of my anxiety
I know I do not want to be a vet
I know I don’t really want to work with insects (not that I’m scared of them or dislike them I just don’t particularly like the thought I could kill them incredibly easily...)

I’m thinking maybe Zoo keeping, maybe specialising in Lemurs or reptiles?
Or possibly
Working in an animal unit in a college like the one I’m applying to do my course at?

I’m not really sure and I don’t want to sound uneducated
Anyone have any ideas?

You don't have to have all the answers and people change their minds all the time. Talk about your current ideas and interests but maybe tone it down a bit in terms of talking about your strengths and not necessarily what you don't want to do.

Good point! I don’t want to come across as really demanding but at the same time I want them to know I’m serious about the course and not just taking it on a whim.
Do you think it would be okay to say something along the lines of
“I am exploring my options within the industry. I am looking to explore my strengths and weakness on the course and make an informed decision.”
Would that be okay? (Maybe slightly different wording)

I wouldn't talk about weaknesses unless specifically asked. Something more along the lines of I'm not sure but through this course I hope to explore my interests, network and learn more about careers in the field and the skills required.
