Page 76. How would you know the line of symmetry is at x = 3/4 by simply drawing the graph? I would assume it would be x = 1 because that is the x value in my table of values with the lowest y value at y = -5. So you would assume that the minimum point is x = 1, so the line of symettery would be at x = 1.

Don't do it from the graph and 'table of values'.

At this level you should very well be able to complete the square on y=2x23x4y=2x^2-3x-4 and read off the exact line of symmetry from that form.

Yep that makes sense. Thank you. The question in the exercise and solutionbank answer are both misleading.
