Are we going to actually revolt or just continue meekly accept the current state of affairs? Just let a bunch of fat well paid middle aged tory men tell us to stop buying avacados?

I would revolt but I need the money to start a revolution
(and now I got the song from the wwe13 adverts stuck in my head)

This would explain an awful ****ing lot.

The whole identity politics - a swath snowflakes rejecting society, trying to label themselves as different, outside those "societal constraints", trying to set themselves apart and get attention.

In the 70s they would just go smoke pot, now they must make everything about themselves.

Thanks, I've become older and wiser

What you did was dismiss the experiences of an entire generation, accusing them of being whiny so and so's who seek to blame everyone else, apparently without even knowing what a millenial really is or having any kind of first, or indeed second hand familiarity with the problems that many of them are facing. You think that's not going to piss people off? Sounds like you need to take some responsibility for your actions. Millenials are objectively and quantifiably in a worse position than their parents were at their age. You think things will be different for you and your cohort? You think you're special? Think again. Real life is going to hit you like a giant sack of ****.

What I did was make fun of a "BUNCH" Of people and call them whiny.
What you did was say I am talking abou all millennials and cannot see a joke. How many bloody times do I need to say it, joke joke joke joke joke joke joke joke, happy?

The whiners I am talking about are the champaign socialists who whine about how hard life is hence why I made fun of microagressions and other lefty bull
I think that you mr haddock need to take your thumb out your bass and realise that this was a joke and not a serious argument against millenials

The "BUNCH" that you are calling whiny are presumably the 60% of millenials who reported having these problems, correct? I mean, how the hell else am I supposed to interpret your post? And they can't afford champagne, numbnuts. That's the whole point.

You have to actually be some level of wealthy to be a champaign socialist. If you are a champaign socialist life is pretty easy for you personally, or so it goes. This is not the case for the people I am talking about. Or me for that matter! Am I a champaign socialist becuase my parents let me live at home and am therefore not homeless? I can afford some cans of lager once a week. How low is this bar?

Make it clear I have nothing against champaign socialists. Tonny Benn was one of the best Labour MPs and leftists this country produced.

Well these are the majority of the people I am talking about, I never involved you in this group nor have I involved the plenty of millennials that do not fit into this

I have stated that this is not the case a bunch of times in the thread hence why I made a joke about microagressions and soy
This thread is so despondent. Cheer up - at least half of that 60% of millenials are probably having what they're unaware is a MID life crisis. Am I right, pensioners?

So you are talking about a group other than that which I made this thread about.

?

You got to be in your 40s+ for midlife.

I am still in my mid 20s! Albeit I think I am of the younger end of the millenial spectrum.

Quite a few of the people I am talking about are millennials. (most champaign socialists are millennials not most millennials are champaign socialists)

err... you couldn't be more wrong. The 70s was one of the peaks for radical politics in that century for the UK. The right were constantly ******** themselves and conspired to enact cougs every 5 seconds for threat of communist insurection.

There was even briefly something resembling a russian soviet during one of the many mass strike actions.

Really? That phrase (champaign socialist) was created as a right wing attack line against the left before I or you were born.

Is there anything you are not continuously wrong about? XD

Yes, yes, I get the soy part was a joke, it was hilarious and I'm sure we all got a good laugh out of it. The confusing part is, if the first part of your post wasn't referring to the 60% of millenials mentioned in the OP, then just who were you talking about?

Perhaps current right wing vexation is a good sign, then. Right after that, we got a decade of our dear lady The Right Honourable The Baroness Thatcher.
Some dude was arguing over the price of an avocado in aldi today, apparently £1 for an avocado is 'outrageous' :dontknow:

The right is always scared of communist insurection. Even when the Berlin Wall has been down longer than it was up .

The ghost of the Soviet Union manifests itself in Corbyn and his spieful ways.

It;s just that during the 70s there was a real threat of power being shifted away from capital to ordinary people and a Labour party that had radical Socialists like Benn who were commited to upholding thier manifestos they were elected on, unlike the melts such as Wilson. That is what I want to come back. An actual real threat to the point they are planning and practising for cougs out in the open. Shutting down airports with tanks, that sort of thing.

I don't think one can compare those people to these snowflakes.
