How much revision during Easter holidays?

How much revision are you doing during Easter each day in terms of hours?
Also, do you have set timings planned and if so what are they?

I'm doing bio, chem and psych AS exams in May. Haven't actually made a revision timetable yet (probably a job for the weekend), but my school normally says about 10 hours per subject as a minimum so 30 hours total. I've got roughly 2 1/2 weeks off for Easter so let's say about 17 days for example so I'd be doing about 2 hours a day roughly including a couple of days off. Doesn't seem like a lot, but if you do it consistently it will help, but then again it's only a minimum so some days I'll probs end up doing more than that. I think it really depends on the individual circumstances tbh though

Ahh sounds well planned! I have 2 weeks off only and I'm doing A-Level exams so basically have to revise everything from the past 2 years. Think I'm gonna do 6 hours a day but I'm potentially considering doing 7 and then only doing 4 on Sunday.

I am doing AS this year, and I plan on making a timetable too.
I have 3 subjects to revise across 18 days, so I plan to do around 2 hours per subject per day?
Another idea is just to do the same amount of hours as you would have had at school. Start at 9 and finish at 3, and spend the rest of the time having a chill!

I am taking the weekends off, but then treating Monday to Friday like regular school days. Which means if I do 6 hours a day (2 hours for each subject) I can get in 60 hours worth of revision in before school, plus I will be finished by like 3:30 everyday, that way you get a good break and it doesn't feel like you have continuously worked :smile:

Yeah I so don't want to be sick of it by Easter considering exams start in June! Do you not think doing 4 hours on a sunday is enough of a break?

I think you should give yourself atleast a couple of days- maybe the whole of the sundays or something. ( I know you probably dont want to as you feel guilt because I feel the same tbh but no point burning out...) Obviously easter is a good time to revise as exams are getting closer but they aren’t right on us yet and that’s a pretty intense schedule!

I suppose it partly depends whether you havn’t done much throughout the year and are only really starting now though.

I don't have AS exams only mocks but they do decide my Uni predicted grades, and I have them the week straight after Easter. So lots of revision! Especially for History because it's a pain in the ass when it comes to structuring essays :bawling:

Yeah that makes sense. If you really think it would be that hard to get back to revising maybe spend part of every day revising just on some days fewer hours- especially sunday if that’s going to be your rest day.
