Nicest UCL Accommodation?!

Which UCL accommodation is best in terms of social life and the rooms/facilities looking nice itself? Do most people go for self-catered or catered?

People will opt for what suits them better and there is a mixture available. You can check out what is available on the accommodation website and maybe take a virtual tour.

I couldn't find a virtual tour on their website, can you please send me a link if you have one?

I sing unfortunately. Email then and ask.
I'm applying for the Garden Halls. They're newly built and I really want to go cuz the facilities look great. But they're pretty expensive so it's hard to choose. I haven't even chosen yet. I want nice looking rooms/facilites but the majority are old buildings and the furniture looks ummm.... haha

Garden Halls are really nice! Yeah, they are pricey, so I am looking for something a bit cheaper:frown:(

I found a picture of John Adams Hall (goo.gl/NdVCBp), can somebody tell me if the rooms are like this? Thanks.

you are all forgetting ucl gives you accomdation you can prefer different ones however they give you what they give you which is a bit **** to be honest
Isn't garden halls intercollegiate? I'm a bit hesitant to apply to intercollegiate halls, what if you don't get put with any UCL students.
I know, so that’s why I want to make a list of the good ones, so I can put my preferences

I heard that the garden hall has the majority of UCL students.
But if you're looking for nice looking facilities the accomodation from UCL doesn't have any...like they're all old buildings with yellow wooden beds and stuff...

Is Frances Gardner or Astor College nice?
Astor College is being refurbished, so at least it should look modern.

as a UCL offer holder I also have started looking for accomodation. to me intercollegiate halls (especially Garden Halls) are much more appealing than UCL halls, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to socialise...
anyways, does anyone know if I can choose directly a hall when applying to intercollegiate halls through UCL or it works similarly to UCL halls, that is you put your preferences and they allocate you?
I just applied for UCL student houses. Unfortunately, you cannot indicate any specific place you want to get in, just the price, most important factor and size :frown: so yeah, you basically cannot choose the nicest
