Help plz. GTX 1060 better prices

Does anyone know where i can find a GTX 1060 6GB for under £300 and preferebly something with 2 fans. I am also looking at 1070s and the Ti Variants of those GPUs and ive found one for under £450 but im not sure if i should get it or just keep looking for cheaper GPUs.

Ive not tried AMD GPUs yet as i have noticed that many are actually more expensive or at the very least harder to obtain. I also am currenctly using Nivida Shadowplay which i will loose if i go for an AMD GPU.

I did make a thread about GPUs and whatnot previously and what i should get. Most people did say to settle with a 1060 as they are good for what you get, but i still think that trying to get a cheaper 1070 is better and also with the new GPUs coming out in a few months i might be able to find some that are being sold for cheap used on Ebay or Amazon!

As you know prices are ridiculously high at the moment due to the cryptocurrency craze. There isnt an easy solution. You are really waiting for a collapse in currency prices.

Keep an eye on

You can look at past deals to see how the prices have fluctuated.

or consider a 1050ti as a cheap stopgap at c £150.

If you really need the extra power, then you will just have to take the plunge.

Ebay i'm afraid, with that being the case, buy a 980/980 Ti. You can buy a watercooled all in one variant on EVGA.

I dont have a watercooled system sadly. But thank you for the suggestions. I didnt really want to go with the 900 series as they arent as power efficent and ive found some GPUs in that series are also as expensive or cost even more than the new series.

Thanks. Yeah as for new GPUs im either going to have to wait for nivida to release a new lineup of GPUs with GDDR6 Ram variants or at the very least just wait till something cheap comes up used or cryptocurrecny dies down a little bit more.

July 2018.
980TI is the way to go imo. Power draw, who gives a ****. I'll assume you are 1080p/1440p as well.

Maybe if the miners decide to go home. What's more likely to be the case is that the new generation of cards sell out almost immediately and the current gen remain in high demand at inflated prices.

RIP. i saw it was £450 and i am getting paid next week. Just checked again and its now £499. Shame. but thanks for the link! ill keep my eye out next time. Overclockers seem to do alot of deals and im gonna keep my eye out for an MSI branded one becasue it fits the theme of my overall red ish build. MSI make good cards. BIG fans
They're starting to go down a little as bitmain are releasing a new ASIC for Ethereum which will compete with the GPU's but prices are still much higher than they need to be. For specific products, I've found this site to be best http://www.nowinstock.net/uk/computers/videocards/nvidia/gtx1060/
