Do you trust the UK government or the Russian government?

Poll

I trust more what

OK, so we know sometimes the Russian government lies to its own people, but we are not Russians.

However, our own government frequently lies to us as well.

So on the issue of the Salisbury poisoning and Syria chemical attack, who do you trust more?

You should have made the poll public.

You are also making an assumption that people are from the UK or give a jot about UK interests.
Are you a traitor or a patriot, Citizen?
In this case the nerve agent didn't even kill. And the victims themselves aren't giving away their story

The fact is no government is trustworthy.
First of all there is still no solid proof that Russia did this and I find it weird how everything is falling to place... As in how come now there's a chemical attack in Syria just a month after what happened in the UK... And now Western intervention and strikes in Syria?! Well isn't it clear that this is all about the US maintaining a unipolar world and "feeling threatened" by chemical weapons is BS. This is all to do with having power over the Middle East. This is all a game.

Anyway is the UK government trustworthy? It may not be as explicitly corrupt as Russia but I don't trust either of them.
Neither, but in this case I’m sceptical. But to be fair even if assad did gas people I would still be against intervention
I trust the UK democracy more than the Russian dictatorship.
I think everyone is as bad as each other.

I don't see why Russia or Syria would be responsible for either of them, as both attacks appear to be contrary to their interests, bringing only lots of trouble from the West.
Although no government can be fully trusted, I trust the U.K. government more. I believe that the attempted murder of Yulia and Sergei Skripal was perpetrated with the suport of the Russian Government. Putin was part of the KGP and the Russian Government has done this before e.g. Litvinenko. Even when the OPCW agreed with the UK’s findings that the nerve agent was Novichok, the Russian Government denies involvement when it created Novichoks (and can still do so) and still has some - according to ‘credible open-source reporting and intelligence.’ It had the means, the motive and the opportunity. Moreover, Yulia Skripal’s emails were targeted by GRU cyber specialists and a chemical warfare programme was created to test methods of delivering the weapons such as by smearing on door knobs (just like what happened) and to train personnel.

As for Assad, I believe he too is responsible for the gassing and murder of his people. The government is authoritarian with Assad and his group at the top. His regime cracked down on opposition and limited freedoms. Personally, I’m for intervention against Assad’s regime as the soon he goes, the closer Syria is to peace. As there are so many different ethnic groups in Syria, the government needs to work with all of them and represent all of them - not just the more dominant one.

I trust Russia more.

I am also more inclined to believe the Russian moon landing achievments. Apollo 11 was fake. Luna 15, which occurred at exactly the same time as Apollo 11, was real. Jodrell Bank tracked Luna 15 because the Russians gave them the tracking data. NASA did not give the tracking data for Apollo 11 to Jodrell Bank.

Can I borrow your tin foil hat, mine broke a while ago?
Russia.
It’s a sad state of affairs when 31.5% trust the Russians over their own democratically elected government.
Its truly shocking that 30% of you lot think a dictatorship that in the past few years has literally invaded a country with hopes of annexing it AND has killed countless political rivals and 'traitors' is more trustworthy than a democratically elected government
