CCEA AS3 biology

Can anyone help me prepare for this exam- how to revise for it what type of questions are on it etc
Thanks in advance
Did it last year! We were the guinea pigs so there were no past papers but I suggest you download the specimen paper and also a copy of the AS3 exam last year. Do them and then do them again make sure you understand everything. I would also download their AS practical support document that you can find on their website. As for the questions, i cant really predict what will come up but they really like sampling questions when it comes to AS so I would definitely learn that. Good luck!

neither the specimen paper or last years exam is on the ccea website☹️
For specimen paper: go to the CCEA Biology Microsite, then go to GCE Revised (from 2016), then click support, then click Biology SAM. The first page starts at page 47.
For the past paper: http://www.rewardinglearning.org.uk/microsites/biology/revised_gce/past_papers/index.asp
just click AS3, practical skills in biology

Would you say that it’d be more useful to learn the key points of th experiment and understand the content or to read over the methods and do ppqs

I would say revise the content well and then do some questions. At this stage when its so soon id focus on the content and leave the qs for after youve revised it if u can
