I'm on AQA. My teacher thinks the question may be about the Supernatural or Kingship. Not sure about an Inspector Calls but the question probably won't be about Mrs Birling, Sheila or social responsibility.
I'm also on AQA. I think on An Inspector Calls it might be about the class divide for the theme and for the character it might be Eric this year as it is a hard one so I'm imagining they might give us a harder one this year as we are not the first year doing the new style papers. For Macbeth I think it might be on the Witches this year or maybe Macbeth or Lady Macbeth's relationship.
For inspector calls.. always revise the inspector as it's priestley's way of presenting his socialist ideas...
For Macbeth, I have no idea so I'd recommend to revise everything.. For poetry, I hope we don't get tissue as the poem... That will fck us up!
ikr, i don't understand why we even have to study Tissue, but i guess it's easier to analyse because of the techniques and you could make multiple interpretations etc.

i'm also on AQA - so hopefully these suggestions will help. Much appreciated!
I honestly think it could be anything but AQA have just released new sample questions which seem to be a lot more specific, so not just like 'How is Power presented in Macbeth'. One of the samples was 'How is the marriage of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth presented' but it could easily just be written as a 'power' question if you link it back to the main question i guess.
My teacher thinks that the Macbeth question might be on Banquo because he is quite an important character that links to many themes eg, supernatural, ambition, power, downfall of sorts. I'm not completely sure though, but I really hope they don't give super obscure questions, I'm barely getting any good grades in Lit as it is!

Omg if we get tissue I might aswell say goodbye to my English Lit gcse! However it’s only the second year I don’t reckon they’d be that cruel. My guess is my last duchess or power of nature as they done bayonet charge, a war poem last year.
