Nat5 Physics Energy Transfer

Can somebody please explain to me how you know which form the energy has been transferred into? EG if 10% is useful light energy what form has the 90% been transferred into?
Well it would depend on the appliance.
For a lightbulb the remaining 90% could be heat energy
Generally, I'd just use your common sense for this one, as said above, older light bulbs produce heat energy instead of light energy. Best of luck for Tuesday
