Should you make a new bank account before applying?

Hi
I was just about to do my student finace on gov.uk, but it said that it needs your UK bank account details. I have one. But is it better to go to the bank and set up another account just for student finance then use that for applying?
Or can you make a new bank account later?

you can change your bank details later

You will be pleased to know we will still process applications without bank details.

Just remember to provide us with valid bank details before the start of your course in order that we can get your payments to you.

You can easily update or change your bank details from your online account.
