Last minute GCSE Computer Science help

The formula for calculating file size is:
File size (bits) = sample rate x resolution x time

How do you find the resolution? Do they give it you in the exam?

Resolution is just the dimensions of the.. video, I guess you're talking about

I've just found this worksheet that contains an example and they seem to give you the sampling rate. Thanks for your help though
Can you send the worksheet herer please

I can't take a picture at the moment but i can type them out for you.

Calculate the file size in bits for a two minute sound recording that has used a sample rate of 1000 Hertz and a sample resolution of 5 bit

One way of representing sound digitally is to take samples of the original sound. Define sampling rate

Define sampling resolution

To calculate the storage requirements that will be needed to store sound samples you need to know both the sampling rate that will be used and the sampling resolution that will be used. Explain how to calculate the storage requirements for the sampled sound data.

Hope this helps
