Felt very good about this one, of course nothing is certain haha.
This mark scheme is now complete with the proper mark allocations made available thanks to begbie68!

Exam board: Edexcel

1a) 2*3^1/2 (two root three) (2)
b) 7/6 (3)

2a) 2x^3/2 - 3x^2 +4x +c (3)
b) i) 3x^-1/2 - 6
ii) 1/16 (4 total)

3) a) a=-5 b=-2 (2)

c) p=27 q=10 r=2 ( 27 + 10root2 ) (2)

4a) £1680 (2)
b) Kim Andy question was N = 18 (5)

5) a) T.P at y=f(x-2) : (4/7) (1)
ii) Asymptote at y=f(-x) : y=1 again (1)
iii) f(2x) = (5/2, 0) ( thanks KEASTON101! ) (1)
b) K < or equal to 1, but also k = 7 ( thanks to Deathly_Vintage) as this is tangental to the maximum point! (2)

6) a) ( thanks jemimagoulding! ) a2 = 4/5, a3 = 4/9, a4=4/13 (3)
b) p = 4, q = -3, via simultaneous equations (2)
c) thus N = 81 (2)

7) a) (4)
b) -4<k<-5/2 (4)

8) straight line with curve question > gradient =5/4 (1)
line l2: y =5/4 x - 10 (3)
two co-ords (0-10), (8,0) (2)
area of parallelogram was 104u^2 (2)

9) a) f(x) = x^3 - 2x^2 -15x +36 (5)
b) (x-3)^2(x+a) >>> a was equal to 4 (3)
c) (4)

10) a) just the equation of the line (5)
b) co-ordinate B was ( 90, 333/10 ) (5)

1.)2sqrt3
2.)7/6
3.)x=1/16, 27+10sqrt2
From there on i have no idea what the order is
N=18 for the Kim and dude saving scheme
(x+A) A=4
a2=4/5, a3=4/9, a4=4/13, P=4, q=-3, n=81
k<1 and -4<k<(dunno which one was the numerator but -5/2) , dunno if this was a question f(2x) x=5/2
area =104 for parallelogram
B(90,100/3)
(edited 5 years ago)
For f(2x) x=5/2
B was (90,333/10)

Oh yeah, youre right x=5/2,
what did you get for a1, a2 and a3 in that arithmetic sequence question
for the sequences question i think it was
a2= 4/5
a3= 4/9
a4=4/13

Yeah almost certain this is right, will add to list. Do you remember the pn+q values?

I used the values in part (a) to set up simultaneous equations and solved them that way
how did you work out p and q then I screwed that bit up so bad
P was 4. Q was -3 . So N was 81

a4=4/13

Did it ask to simplify them?? I didn’t simplify a4

Can't remember it all, so feel free to help out!

1a) 2*3^1/2 (two route three)
b) 7/6

2a) x = 1/16

3) 27+ 10(route two)

that's all I remember in terms of order, sorry!

Sequence question (thanks jemimagoulding) a2 = 4/5, a3 = 4/9, a4=4/13

pn+q >>> p = 4, q = -3

Kim Andy question was N =18

Very last question co-ordinate B was ( 90, 333/10)

K < or equal to 1,
-4<k<-5/2

(x-3)^2(x+a) >>> a was equal to 4

area of parallelogram was 104u^2 I think?

I don't think anything else was tricky (or at least my memory doesn't!) let me know if you agree or can add or at least add some structure to this!
