Hi all! So how was the paper?!
I couldn't do the binomial part (b). But overall it went well

to be frank it was easier than expected. For the second part of the binomial.

b)
when x=0.1
(1+0.1/3)^18

all u had to do is sub in 0.1 into the x (in part (a)). so if i'm correct u will get 1.8002

Are you asking about the N value? I actually got 80. I think I'm wrong because I didn't use the summation formula. They asked about the "Nth day" on which the person covered a total of 1200 km. So I used ar^N=1200

its 32 because when n=34 distance=1250 so 82-50=32

I didnt use the sum formula either, I did ar^33 because thats the last day and got 82 :frown:

34 dude. The answer I got is 33 point something. So I think should spend one more day.

What was the answer for the badge question ?
