well i'm thinking topic 6 is the biggest so it will be quite heavy
Just replying so I can watch this thread, I think there will be a genetic cross question at least and probably one or two definitions in inheritance (like population, community etc)

I reckon there is a high chance of a 6 marker on variation, what do you think? Also maybe a bit of the geography side of it - carbon cyle, biodiversity etc.

yh i think there might be a 4/6 marker on plant hormones bc plants were practically non-existent in paper 1

My list of predicted Topics/Questions:

Practicals Quadrats etc

Maths Graphs, Tables

IVF, DNA, Genetics

Food Security (Human Social impact)

Ecosystems, biodiversity human impacts

Homeostasis, Hormones

Cell Division

Evolution, Natural Selection & Variation / Speciation

The Eye, the brain

Plant Hormones

Decay / Decomposition

It’s gonna be a tough paper due to the sheer amount of content and I do honestly believe there will be a 6 marker on either the eye or brain and like others are saying plant hormones due to the lack of bioenergrtics on paper 1

I agree, also The Eye has moved from Physics / A level bio recently so AQA will want to test to see if we have been taught it

These 3 topics are here: https://app.senecalearning.com/classroom/course/6b76a6e0-cf79-11e7-83a9-29a486db2c9f/section/7be80ab0-d982-11e7-9bd5-53995c3110f0 It comes with lots and lots of practice questions, so may help to revise everything in a short time and be prepared for whatever questions show up

Since decay, carbon cycle, variation featured on the AQA specimen paper do you think that theirs a high chance for it to come up on the actual paper?
I am pretty sure that the carbon cycle is going to come up as well

Is there any chances of the menstrual cycle and hormones being a 6 marker?
