How to compare poems and tips

I ended up with an 8 in the end, probably could have got a 9 but I left revision for the night before oops. I think the key for me was to just make lots of points, they were consise but meaningful. Pull out contrasts and similarities in the rythmns of the poems, underlying tones/meanings, liguistical features etc. Being the idiot that I am and leaving the revision so late meant that I could only really revise a couple of poems. I just remembered about 10 quotes from 2 or 3 poems and was able to compare them to the poems given in the exam with ease.

Good luck

How many paragraphs and how to structure
Brief context: wilfred owen from exposure was actually in ww1 and died right at the end so this is his actual experience of it but ted hughes was not and I think his dad was in a war but I don’t know which one.
